Louise Sauter
Within the family circle Louise was the one who offered to help in any time of need. She traveled many miles – to California when a sister had a stroke – to Saskatoon when a brother-in-law had a heart attack – to Rochester when a nephew had a kidney transplant – or just a few blocks with soup and bread pudding for a widowed sister trying to adjust to living alone – to a brother and his son when they lost their wife and mother. She seemed to know where she was most needed. (From words about Louise at her funeral.)
